I’ve always been the kind of person who just can’t help but create. Whether it was music, recording studios, collage art, or finding new ways to bring an idea to life, creating has always been a big part of who I am. In the past, I worked in music and helped build two of the largest nonprofit music schools in my state, which was an incredible chapter in my life. I’ve also worked in real estate, where my eye for interior design and transformation got to shine in a different way.

When I was a kid, I covered my walls with magazine cutouts because I couldn’t afford posters, but honestly, I also just loved the imagery. I was always drawn to the way visuals could completely change a space and spark inspiration. Even now, when I’m watching TV and trying to relax, I usually gravitate toward shows that inspire creativity or show some kind of transformation.

These days, I’m focused on sharing my love for collage art with others. When I discovered collage, I realized how powerful it could be for relieving stress and quieting overthinking. That’s a big part of why I do this, to show people that it does not have to be perfect. It is really just about having fun and enjoying the process. If I can do it, you can do it too. - CJ
