This piece is a fun, surreal take on a classic afternoon at home. I used some vintage clippings to set the scene with a lady just relaxing in her teal chair, catching up on a phone call with some flowers on the table next to her. The twist is this huge toucan head poking in from the side, looking like he’s trying to eavesdrop on her whole conversation. I also added a smaller bird flying across the top to keep the energy light and airy. It’s a minimal layout, but I love the weird, funny vibe of having a giant tropical bird as a silent partner on the call.
